Vintage Market Garden - Lakeland, FL

The Vintage Market Days is a Group out of Tampa, FL organize these Vintage Market events throughout the state, bringing businesses, creators and vendors together for an amazing event.  It's beautiful, well organized and there's something for everyone.  From hand-crafted uniquely original creations, artisan foods and wellness products, hand-crafted soaps, lotions and candles to vintage found treasures.

I typically wait until the last day of an event like this because the crowds are smaller and it's a bit more leisurely, and less frantic. This event was still quite busy, and the inventory of treasures was extensive, unique and beautifully displayed.

Sellers were helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. Some were offering deep discounts because it was the last day of the event. Parking was a breeze, too.  A donation was accepted for a charitable cause.

Two wonderful ladies I spoke with about their art and crafty creations, but I didn't buy anything because most of my home decorating and gift shopping is complete. But that didn't hinder them from chatting me up and sharing their creative passion.

My first stop was the restroom where I discovered a foaming sugar scrub with a divine scent. Many different scents had been put out for female visitors to use and try.  BRILLIANT marketing idea. I made sure to stop by their booth and purchase a large tub of my favorite!  Crescent City Bathworks@gmail.com. They're also on Instagram.

These are the items I scored, some of the sellers I can't recall because they didn't have a card and were mostly vintage treasures, but their booths are probably in the photo dump at the end of this post.  There was one seller who saw me photographing the event and told me that she doesn't allow pictures of her booth.  So, I will respect her wishes and won't mention her or that business. What a shame, she had lovely items, but I think she was having a bad day or just tired from the long weekend event. I truly hope she had a wonderful and prosperous weekend.

The flower/bee and dragonfly prints are from Shop Girl Belinda Hill 863-860-7124 Lakeland FL

She's all-over social media: Facebook and Instagram.

Metal cookie cutters, medical handbook from 1950s, candle holder, necklace and Victorian crochet table runner were from the same vendor.
If I see their booth in the dump below, I'll mention them again.

Dolfin salt and pepper shakers!! Very nice lady gave me 50% off!  $5 for that treasure.

Coconut Lemongrass foaming whipped sugar scrub from Crescent City Bathworks 228-363-5677

5 Halo Dips for $20, all-natural dip mix. He was passing out mini stick pretzels so you could try the dips.  yum.  Bacon Pineapple, Sweet Onion, Spicy Queso, Mayland Bay and Orange Creamsicle.

The colorful puppy was my last purchase.  Everyone was closing up and packing up.  As I was walking out, this guy caught my eye and yelled! "Bodhi would LOVE me!"  Another bargain and the perfect end to a great experience.

I'm heading back to Maine in 10 days. I won't be back in Florida until November.  But who knows what adventures I may have in the meantime. :o)

Here's the photo dump of the isles of vendors and the lovely coffee truck where I purchased a caramel macchiato. (spelling?)

Just when I thought I had made it to the end, there was a whole other room full of vendors and treasures!

This was Honey and ??? They had gorgeous vintage finds; I purchased 3 test tube.  She had homemade pot pouri that smelled divine.

These Gourds were GORGEOUS!  Immaculate designs that lighted up!
So pretty!  There were also sports teams and more.

The large canvases on the left were so striking, I stopped to stare for a bit. The lady said a friend of hers in Texas makes them.
HUGE water fountain, I just loved it!

Thanks so much for stopping by the blog and sharing my travel adventures!
Live life,
Becky

Wesley Chapel, FL - The Living Room

I stumbled upon this unique dining experience in a small community called "The Shoppes at Winegarden" in Wesley Chapel, FL. The Living Room Impeccably, practically decorated with attentive and polite staff. I was crunched for time and the server was very accommodating. I only ordered an appetizer, the crab cakes.  The presentation was gorgeous, and the flavor was even better. Instead of cramming them into my face, I asked for a "to go" package so I could enjoy them at home later.  Located at: 2001 Piazza Ave Suite 100, Wesley Chapel, FL 33543 +1 (813) 934-7911 Please join me in my travels, visiting attractions and especially restaurants from Maine to Florida.  Bon Appetite!
